Joshua 12

1These are the kings of the land whom the sons of Israel struck and took possession of their territory beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise, from the Arnon brook to Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah eastward.

2Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon and ruled from Aroer on the bank of the Arnon River, through the middle of the river and half of Gilead, to the Jabbok River, the border of the sons of Ammon.

3And the Arabah to the Sea of Chinnereth toward the east, and to the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea toward the east, by the road to Beth-jeshimoth; and southward, beneath the slopes of Pisgah.

4and the border of Og, king of Bashan, from the remnant of the Rephaim who dwelt in Ashtaroth and Edrei,

5He ruled Mount Hermon and Salcah and all Bashan to the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites and half of Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

6Moses, servant of Yahweh, and the sons of Israel defeated them, and Moses, servant of Yahweh, gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh.

7These are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the children of Israel struck beyond the Jordan to the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon to Mount Halak that rises to Seir; Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions.

8in the hill country, low country, Arabah, slopes, wilderness, and south—the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

9the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which lies by the side of Beth-el, one;

10the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

11one king of Jarmuth; one king of Lachish;

12the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

13one king of Debir; one king of Geder;

14Hormah's king, one; Arad's king, one;

15one king of Libnah; one king of Adullam;

16king of Makkedah, one; king of Bethel, one;

17King of Tappuah, one; king of Hepher, one;

18Aphek's king, one; Lasharon's king, one;

19the king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;

20king of Shimron-meron, one; king of Achshaph, one;

21Taanach's king, one; Megiddo's king, one;

22the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam at Carmel, one;

23the king of Dor in the region of Dor, one; the king of the nations in Gilgal, one;

24the king of Tirzah, one; all the kings, thirty-one.
