Joshua 19

1The second lot came out for Simeon, for the tribe of Simeon's sons according to their families. Their inheritance was within the inheritance of Judah's sons.

2Their inheritance was Beersheba, Sheba, and Moladah.

3Hazar-shual, Balah, and Ezem

4Eltolad, Bethuel, and Hormah,

5Ziklag, Bethmarcaboth, Hazar-susah

6Beth-lebaoth, Sharuhen; thirteen cities along with their villages.

7Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan; four cities with their villages.

8And all the surrounding villages of these cities to Baalath-beer, Ramah of the south. This was the inheritance of the tribe of Simeon's sons according to their families.

9The inheritance of Simeon's sons came from the portion of Judah's sons, because the share of Judah's sons was too much for them, so Simeon's sons inherited in the midst of their inheritance.

10The third lot came up for the sons of Zebulun according to their families, and the border of their inheritance reached Sarid.

11Their border went up toward the sea to Maralah, reached Dabbesheth, and reached the brook that lies before Jokneam.

12It turned from Sarid eastward toward the sun's rising to the border of Chisloth-tabor, went out to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.

13From there it passed eastward to Gath-hepher, to Ittah-kazin, and went out to Rimmon-methoar, to Neah.

14The border went around it on the north to Hannathon, and its ends were at the valley of Jiphthah-el.

15Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities and their villages.

16This is the inheritance of Zebulun's sons by their families: these cities and their villages.

17The fourth lot fell to Issachar, to the sons of Issachar according to their families.

18Their border was Jezreel, Chesulloth, and Shunem.

19Haphraim, Shihon, and Anaharath

20Rabbith, Kishion, and Abez,

21Remeth, En-gannim, En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez.

22The border met Tabor, Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh, and the extents of their border reached the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

23This is the inheritance of the tribe of Issachar's sons by their families: the cities and their villages.

24The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher by their clans.

25Their border was Helkath, Hali, Beten, and Achshaph.

26Alammelech, Amad, and Mishal; it bordered Carmel seaward and Shihor-libnath.

27It turned eastward to Beth-dagon, reached Zebulun and the valley of Jiphthah-el toward the north to Beth-emek and Neiel, and went out to Cabul on the left.

28Hebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as great Sidon.

29The border turned to Ramah and to Tyre the fortified city, then turned to Hosah, and its exits reached the sea from Achzib's region.

30Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob—twenty-two cities with their villages.

31This is the inheritance of the tribe of Asher's sons according to their families: these cities with their villages.

32The sixth lot fell to the children of Naphtali, to the children of Naphtali according to their families.

33Their border ran from Heleph, from Allon in Zaanannim, Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel to Lakum, ending at the Jordan.

34The border turned westward to Aznoth-tabor, went out from there to Hukkok, reached Zebulun on the south, reached Asher on the west, and Judah at the Jordan toward the sunrise.

35The fortress cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth.

36Adamah, Ramah, and Hazor.

37Kedesh, Edrei, En-hazor.

38Iron, Migdal-el, Horem, Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

39This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali according to their families: the cities and their villages.

40The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Dan by their families.

41Zorah, Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh were the border of their inheritance.

42Shaalabbin, Ajalon, and Jethlah

43Elon, Timnah, Ekron

44Eltekeh, Gibbethon, and Baalath

45Jehud, Bene-berak, Gath-rimmon.

46Me-jarkon, Rakkon, and the border facing Joppa.

47The border of the sons of Dan went out from them, and the sons of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, captured it, struck it with the edge of the sword, possessed it, dwelt in it, and called Leshem Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

48This is the inheritance of the tribe of Dan's sons according to their families: these cities with their villages.

49They finished dividing the land according to its borders, and the sons of Israel gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them.

50At Yahweh's command, they gave him the city he had asked for, Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim; and he built the city and lived there.

51These are the inheritances that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of Israel's sons allotted by lot in Shiloh before Yahweh at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and they finished dividing the land.
