2 Chronicles 4

1He made a bronze altar twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and ten cubits high.

2He made the cast sea ten cubits from rim to rim, perfectly round on every side; its height was five cubits, and a line thirty cubits long encircled it.

3Under it was the likeness of oxen encircling it entirely, ten every cubit all around the sea. The oxen were in two rows, cast when it was cast.

4It stood on twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east, with the sea above them and all their rear parts turned inward.

5Its thickness was a handbreadth, and its brim was like the workmanship of a cup's brim, like a lily blossom; containing three thousand baths, it held them.

6He made ten basins and set five on the right and five on the left for washing in them; they rinsed the work of the burnt offering in them, but the sea was for the priests to wash in.

7He made ten gold lampstands according to their specifications and set them in the temple, five on the right side and five on the left.

8He made ten tables and placed them in the temple, five on the right and five on the left. He made a hundred basins of gold.

9He made the priests' court and the great court, along with doors for the court, and overlaid their doors with brass.

10He placed the sea on the right shoulder toward the east, opposite the south.

11Huram made the pots, the shovels, and the bowls. Huram finished the work that he had done for King Solomon in God's house.

12the two pillars, the bowls, and the two capitals on the pillars' tops, and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals on the pillars' tops.

13and four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network to cover both bowls of the capitals that stood on the pillars.

14He made the bases, and made the basins on the bases.

16Huram his father made the pots, the shovels, the fleshhooks, and all their vessels of polished bronze for King Solomon for the house of Yahweh.

17The king cast them in the Jordan plain, in the clay soil between Succoth and Zeredathah.

18Solomon made all these vessels in very great abundance, for the weight of the bronze could not be ascertained.

19Solomon made all the vessels of God's house, the golden altar, and the tables with the bread of the Presence on them.

20and the lampstands and their lamps to light them as prescribed before the inner sanctuary, of refined gold;

21The flowers, the lamps, and the tongs of gold—which was perfect gold.

22The snuffers, bowls, spoons, and firepans were pure gold, as were the house entrance—its inner doors to the most holy place—and the house doors to the temple.
