Lumin Translation
Corinthians 2
And I, brothers, when I came to you, did not come with superiority of speech or wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God.
For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.
And my message and my proclamation were not in enticements of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power.
so that your faith would not be in human wisdom but in God's power.
Yet we speak wisdom among the mature, wisdom not of this age nor of the rulers of this age who are being abolished.
But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God foreordained before the ages for our glory.
None of the rulers of this age has known it—for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as it is written, what no eye saw and no ear heard, what did not rise into the human heart—all that God prepared for those who love him.
For God revealed them to us through the Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
For who among people knows a person's thoughts except that person's spirit within him? Even so, no one knows God's thoughts except the Spirit of God.
But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, that we might know the things God freely gave us.
We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual ones.
But the natural person does not accept the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
But the spiritual person discerns all things, yet he himself is discerned by no one.
For who has known the Lord's mind so as to instruct him? But we possess Christ's mind.
