1 Corinthians 16

1Now about the collection for the saints, just as I directed the churches of Galatia, so do that too.

2On the first day of every week, let each of you set something aside by himself, storing up whatever he may prosper in, so that when I come there need be no collections then.

3When I arrive, I will send whomever you approve by letters to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem.

4And if it is fitting for me also to go, they will go with me.

5I will come to you when I pass through Macedonia, for I am passing through Macedonia.

6But perhaps I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I go.

7For I do not want to see you now while passing by, for I hope to remain with you some time if the Lord permits.

8But I will remain in Ephesus until Pentecost.

9For a great and powerful door has opened to me, and many oppose.

10If Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he does the Lord's work, as I also do.

11Therefore let no one despise him, but send him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me, for I expect him with the brothers.

12Now concerning Apollos the brother, I besought him much to come to you with the brothers, but it was not at all his will to come now; he will come when he has opportunity.

13Keep watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!

14Let everything you do be in love.

15I urge you, brothers—you know the household of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia and that they devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints.

16that you also submit to such people and to everyone who works together and labors.

17I am glad at the presence of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus, for they filled up your lack.

18For they refreshed my spirit along with yours; therefore recognize such people.

19The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you much in the Lord, together with the church in their house.

20All the brothers greet you. Greet each other with a holy kiss.

22If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Maranatha.

23The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.

24My love is with all of you in Christ Jesus.
