Lumin Translation

Zechariah 6

I turned again, raised my eyes, and saw—there were four chariots coming out from between two mountains, and those mountains were mountains of bronze.

The first chariot had red horses, and the second chariot black horses.

In the third chariot were white horses, and in the fourth chariot were grizzled and bay horses.

I answered and said to the angel speaking with me, "What are these, my lord?"

The angel answered and said to me, "These are the four winds of the heavens going forth from their station before the Lord of all the earth."

The black horses that are in it go out toward the north country, and the white go out after them, and the grizzled go out toward the south country.

The bay went out and sought to go roaming through the earth, and he said, "Go, roam through the earth!" So they roamed through the earth.

He cried out to me and spoke to me, saying, "See, those going toward the north land have given rest to my spirit in the north land."

The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

Take from the exiles—from Heldai, from Tobiah, and from Jedaiah who have come from Babylon—and come that same day and go to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah.

Take silver and gold, make crowns, and set them on the head of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest.

And say to him: Thus says Yahweh of hosts: See, a man whose name is the Branch—from his place he will sprout and build Yahweh's temple.

Even he will build the temple of Yahweh; he will bear majesty, sit and reign on his throne; he will be a priest on his throne; and the counsel of peace will be between both of them.

The crowns will belong to Helem, Tobiah, Jedaiah, and Hen son of Zephaniah, a memorial in Yahweh's temple.

Those from afar will come and build in Yahweh's temple, and you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent me to you; and this will happen if you carefully heed the voice of Yahweh your God.
