Is using ChatGPT a sin?

No, not because it’s ChatGPT. Six real prompts get sorted: quizzing yourself is usually fine, and finding a verse is fine if you open it; passing off its essay, summarizing a friend’s private messages, or repeating a quote you never checked is not okay; asking it to be your pastor is the wrong role.
