Lumin Translation
2 Corinthians 6
1Working together, we also urge you not to receive God's grace in vain.
2For he says, “In an acceptable season I heeded you, and in a day of salvation I aided you.” See, now is the favorable season; see, now is the day of salvation.
3We give no offense in anything, so that our ministry may not be blamed.
4But in everything we commend ourselves as servants of God—in much endurance, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses.
5in floggings, in prisons, in disturbances, in toils, in sleepless nights, in fasts;
6in purity, in knowledge, in forbearance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love
7in true speech, in God's power; through weapons of righteousness on the right and the left,
8through honor and shame, through defamation and praise; as deceivers, yet true;
9as overlooked, yet recognized; as dying, and behold, we live; as disciplined, and not put to death;
10as grieving, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having nothing, and possessing all things.
11Corinthians, our mouth stands open to you; our heart has expanded.
12You are not constrained by us, but you are constrained by your own affections.
13Now for the same recompense—as to children I speak—be enlarged, you also.
14Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship does righteousness share with lawlessness? Or what communion does light share with darkness?
15And what harmony has Christ with Belial? Or what share has the faithful with the faithless?
16What agreement has God's temple with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, as God said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them; I will be their God, and they will be my people."
17Therefore, come out from their midst and separate yourselves, says the Lord; do not touch anything unclean, and I will receive you.
18And I will be a father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.
