How the quiz works
Each day has three words and two sayings, picked from 115 words and 67 sayings people often ask about. Every answer comes from the same count as Lumin’s Bible word checker, in the Lumin Translation and the King James Version, so the quiz and the checker never disagree.
Want one verse a day instead? Today’s verse comes with one question to carry.
- Where do the answers come from?
- From the same index as Lumin’s free word and verse checker: the Lumin Translation and the King James Version. A word only counts as “in the Bible” if it is in both. Words that are only in one of them, like unicorn, are left out of the quiz, because yes and no would both be half right.
- When does a new quiz come out?
- Every day at midnight, on your own clock. Everyone gets the same five questions on the same date, so you can compare scores with friends.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Your scores and your streak are kept on this device only. Nothing about your answers is sent anywhere.
- Can I check any word myself?
- Yes. The free Bible word checker counts any word, sentence, or song lyric in the Lumin Translation and the King James Version, and shows where each word appears.
