1Behold, you are beautiful, my love; behold, you are beautiful; your eyes are doves behind your veil; your hair is like a flock of goats descending from Mount Gilead.

2Your teeth are like a shorn flock that has come up from the washing, all of them bearing twins, with none barren among them.

3Your lips are like a scarlet cord, your speech is lovely; your temples are like a pomegranate slice behind your locks.

4Your neck is like David's tower, built as an armory on which a thousand shields hang, all the shields of the warriors.

5Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle, that graze among the lilies.

6Until the day cools and the shadows flee, I will go to the mountain of myrrh, to the hill of frankincense.

7You are altogether beautiful, my love; no blemish is in you.

8Come from Lebanon with me, my bride, from Lebanon with me. Gaze from Amana's heights, from Senir's heights and Hermon, from lions' dens, from leopards' mountains.

9You have captivated my heart, my sister, my bride; you have captivated my heart with one of your eyes, with one chain of your neck.

10How beautiful are your loves, my sister, my bride! How much better your loves than wine, and the fragrance of your ointments than all spices!

11Your lips, my bride, drip honeycomb; honey and milk lie under your tongue, and the aroma of your garments is like Lebanon's aroma.

12My sister, my bride is a locked garden, a spring locked, a sealed fountain.

13Your shoots are an orchard of pomegranates with choice fruits, henna with spikenard.

14spikenard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon, with all frankincense trees; myrrh and aloes, with every finest spice.

15A spring of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams flowing from Lebanon.

16Awake, north wind, and come, south wind; blow through my garden, that its spices may pour forth. Let my beloved enter his garden and eat his precious fruits.
