Malachi 4

1See, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; all the arrogant and everyone who does evil will become stubble, and the day that comes will set them ablaze, says Yahweh of hosts, leaving them neither root nor branch.

2But for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like stall-fed calves.

3You will trample the wicked, for they will become ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I make, declares Yahweh of hosts.

4Remember the law of my servant Moses, which I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel: statutes and judgments.

5See, I will send Elijah the prophet to you before the great and fearsome day of Yahweh comes.

6He will turn the fathers' hearts to the children and the children's hearts to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with utter destruction.
