31. What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

34. Who condemns? Christ, who died—but rather, was raised—who is at God's right hand, who also intercedes for us.
35. Who will separate us from Christ's love—affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword?
36. Just as it has been written, "For your sake we are put to death all day long; we were counted as sheep for slaughter."
37. But we overwhelmingly conquer in all these through the one who loved us.
38. For I am assured that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor present things nor things to come, nor powers,
