14. Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is a pattern of the one to come.

18. So then, just as through one offense condemnation resulted for all people, so also through one righteous act justification of life resulted for all people.
19. For as through one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one the many will be made righteous.
20. Now the law entered alongside, so that the trespass would abound; but where sin abounded, grace superabounded.
21. so that just as sin reigned in death, grace might also reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
