11. And a white robe was given to each of them, and they were told that they should rest yet for a little time, until their fellow servants and their brothers, those about to be killed as they also were, should be fulfilled.
12. And I saw as he opened the sixth seal, and a great earthquake struck; the sun turned black as hairy sackcloth, and the whole moon became like blood.
13. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.
14. And the sky was removed like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15. And the kings of the earth, the nobles, the captains, the rich, the powerful, and every slave and free person hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
16. They said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of the one seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.”
17. Because the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?
