12. The one who conquers I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never go out again. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from my God, and my new name.
13. Let the one who has an ear hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
14. And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: "The Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's creation, says these things."
15. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. If only you were cold or hot.
16. Thus, because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I will spew you out of my mouth.
17. Because you say, "I am rich, and have become rich, and lack nothing," yet you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.
18. I counsel you to buy gold refined by fire from me, so you may become rich; and white garments, so you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be exposed; and eyesalve to anoint your eyes, so you may see.
19. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
20. Look, I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, dine with him, and he with me.
21. The one who conquers, I will let him sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat with my Father on his throne.
