Translated from Hebrew and Greek with AI, then checked for clarity and fidelity.

1. Save me, God, for waters have come to my soul.
2. I sink in miry depths where there is no standing; I have come into water's depths, and the torrent overflows me.
3. I am faint from crying out; my throat is parched; my eyes waste away while I wait for my God.
4. Those who hate me without reason outnumber the hairs on my head; my enemies, who seek to destroy me falsely, are mighty. Then I repay what I did not steal.
5. God, you know my folly and my offenses; they are not concealed from you.
6. Let not those who hope in you be ashamed because of me, Lord Yahweh of hosts; let not those who seek you be disgraced because of me, God of Israel.
7. For your sake I have borne reproach; disgrace has covered my face.
8. I have become a stranger to my brothers, a foreigner to my mother's sons.
9. For zeal for your house has devoured me, and the reproaches of those reproaching you have fallen upon me.
10. When I wept with the fast of my soul, it became reproaches to me.
11. I made sackcloth my clothing and became a byword to them.
12. Those who sit at the gate complain about me, and I am the song of the drinkers of strong drink.
13. But as for me, my prayer to you, Yahweh, at the time of favor: God, in the abundance of your lovingkindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.
14. Rescue me from the mire and from sinking; deliver me from my haters and from the depths of waters.
15. Do not let the floodwaters overwhelm me, nor let the deep swallow me, nor let the pit shut its mouth over me.
16. Answer me, Yahweh, for your kindness is good; according to the multitude of your mercies, turn to me.
17. Do not conceal your face from your servant, for distress afflicts me; answer me quickly.
18. Come near to my soul and redeem it for the sake of my enemies; deliver me.
19. You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor; all my adversaries stand before you.
20. Shame has broken my heart, and anguish overwhelms me. I looked for someone to pity me, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none.
21. They put gall in my food, and for my thirst they made me drink vinegar.
22. Let their table before them become a snare, and their welfare a trap.
23. Let their eyes darken so they cannot see, and let their loins shake continually.
24. Pour your indignation upon them, and let the fury of your anger overtake them.
25. Let their palace become desolate; let there be no dweller in their tents.
26. For they persecute the one you struck, and they recount the grief of those you wounded.
27. Add iniquity upon their iniquity, and let them not enter your righteousness.
28. Let them be erased from the register of the living and not listed among the righteous.
29. But I am afflicted and in pain; let your salvation, God, exalt me.
30. I will praise God's name with a song and magnify him with thanksgiving.
31. It will please Yahweh better than an ox or a bull with horns and cloven hooves.
32. The humble have seen it and rejoice; you who seek God, let your heart live.
33. For Yahweh hears the needy and does not despise his prisoners.
34. Let heavens and earth praise him, seas and everything that moves in them.
35. For God will save Zion and build Judah's cities, and they will dwell there and possess it.
36. His servants' offspring will inherit it, and those who love his name will dwell in it.
