17. And you hate discipline and hurl my words behind you.
18. If you approved a thief and consented with him, your portion is with adulterers.
19. You appoint your mouth to evil, and your tongue fastens deceit.
20. You sit and speak against your brother; you give slander against your mother's son.
21. You have done these things, and I remained silent; you imagined that I was like you; I will rebuke you and set them in order before your eyes.
22. Now understand this, you who forget God, lest I tear you apart and there be none to deliver.
23. Whoever offers a thanksgiving sacrifice honors me, and whoever establishes his way, I will show him God's salvation.
