20. Yahweh said to Aaron, "You shall inherit no land among them, nor have any portion there; I am your portion and your inheritance among the sons of Israel."
21. Behold, to the sons of Levi I have given every tithe in Israel as an inheritance, in return for their service which they perform, the service of the tent of meeting.
22. The sons of Israel must not approach the tent of meeting again, or they will bear sin and die.
23. The Levites shall perform the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity; it is a perpetual statute for your generations, and among the Israelites they shall receive no inheritance.

25. Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying.

27. Your heave offering will be credited to you like grain from the threshing floor and like the fullness from the winepress.
28. Thus you also shall lift up a heave offering to Yahweh from all your tithes, which you receive from the sons of Israel; and from it you shall give Yahweh's heave offering to Aaron the priest.
29. From all your gifts you shall offer every offering of Yahweh, from all its best, its holy part from it.
30. You shall say to them: When you lift up its best from it, it will be reckoned to the Levites as the yield of the threshing floor and as the yield of the winepress.
31. You and your households shall eat it in any place, for it is your reward in exchange for your service in the tent of meeting.
32. You shall bear no sin because of it when you offer up its best from it, nor shall you defile the holy things of the sons of Israel, or you will die.
