6. In that day, declares Yahweh, I will assemble the lame, gather the outcasts, and those I have afflicted.
7. I will make the lame a remnant and those driven far away a strong nation, and Yahweh will reign over them on Mount Zion from that time onward, forever.
8. You, tower of the flock, hill of Zion's daughter—to you comes the former rule, the kingdom of Jerusalem's daughter.
10. Writhe and labor, daughter Zion, like a woman in childbirth—for now you leave the city, dwell in the open fields, and reach Babylon. There rescue comes to you; there Yahweh ransoms you from your enemies' power.
11. Now many nations gather against you, saying, "Let her be defiled, and let our eyes look upon Zion."
12. But they do not know Yahweh's plans or understand his purpose, for he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
13. Arise and thresh, daughter Zion, for I will make your horn iron and your hooves bronze; you will shatter many nations, and I will dedicate their plunder to Yahweh and their riches to the sovereign Yahweh of all the earth.
