18. Pay attention, therefore, to how you hear. For whoever has will be given to him, and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him.

20. And it was reported to him, "Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you."

29. For he was commanding the unclean spirit to depart from the man, for it had seized him many times; and though kept under guard and bound with chains and fetters, breaking the bonds he was driven by the demon into the desolate places.
30. Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" He said, "Legion," because many demons had entered him.
31. And they begged him not to command them to go into the abyss.
32. Now there was there a herd of many pigs feeding on the mountain, and they begged him to permit them to enter those. He permitted them.
33. Then the demons departed from the man and entered the pigs, and the herd rushed down the precipice into the lake and drowned.
34. When the herdsmen saw what had happened, they fled and reported it in the city and countryside.
35. Then they went out to see what had happened, came to Jesus, and found the man out of whom the demons had departed sitting at Jesus's feet, clothed and of sound mind, and they were afraid.

43. And a woman suffering from a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent her entire livelihood on physicians, could not be healed by anyone.

45. Jesus said, "Who touched me?" As everyone denied it, Peter said, "Master, the crowds press you and crowd you."
46. But Jesus said, "Someone touched me, for I perceived power going out from me."
47. Seeing that she had not escaped notice, the woman came trembling, fell before him, and declared before all the people the reason she had touched him and how she was healed immediately.
48. But he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace."
49. While he was still speaking, someone came from the synagogue ruler, saying, "Your daughter has died; trouble the Teacher no longer."
50. But Jesus, having heard, answered him, "Do not fear—only believe, and she will be saved."
51. When he arrived at the house, he permitted no one to enter with him except Peter, John, James, the child's father, and her mother.
52. All were weeping and lamenting her, but he said, "Do not weep, for she did not die but is sleeping."
53. And they ridiculed him, knowing she had died.
54. But he took hold of her hand and called, saying, "Child, arise."
55. And her spirit returned, and she arose immediately, and he commanded something to be given her to eat.
