5. When he becomes guilty of one of these, he must confess his sin in that matter.
6. He must bring his guilt offering to Yahweh for the sin he committed—a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, as a sin offering; the priest will make atonement for him regarding that sin, and he will be forgiven.
7. If he cannot bring a lamb, then for the wrong he has done he must present to Yahweh two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a sin offering, the other as a burnt offering.
8. He must bring them to the priest, who will first present the one for the sin offering, twisting its head from its neck but not detaching it fully.
9. He sprinkles some of the sin offering's blood on the side of the altar, and drains the rest of the blood at its base. It is a sin offering.
10. He shall present the second as a burnt offering following the prescribed rite, and the priest shall make atonement for him for the sin he committed, so that he is forgiven.
11. But if he cannot provide two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then for his sin he shall offer a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a sin offering; he shall put no oil on it, nor any frankincense, for it is a sin offering.

17. If someone sins by doing anything Yahweh has commanded against, even unknowingly, that person is guilty and must bear their iniquity.
18. He must bring a flawless ram from the flock, valued as you determine, as a guilt offering to the priest, who will make atonement for him regarding whatever he sinned unknowingly, and he will be forgiven.
19. It is a guilt offering; he has surely become guilty before Yahweh.
