1. Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying.
2. Speak to all the congregation of the sons of Israel and say to them, "You shall be holy, for I, Yahweh your God, am holy."
3. Each of you shall revere his mother and his father, and observe my Sabbaths; I am Yahweh your God.
4. Do not turn to idols, nor make molten gods for yourselves. I am Yahweh your God.
5. When you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, offer it acceptably.
6. It shall be eaten on the day you offer your sacrifice and the next day, but whatever remains until the third day shall be burned in fire.
7. But if it is consumed at all on the third day, it is abominable; it will not be pleasing.
8. Whoever eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned what is holy to Yahweh, and that soul shall be cut off from his people.
9. When you reap the harvest of your land, do not finish reaping the corner of your field, nor glean the gleanings of your harvest.
10. Do not strip your vineyard bare, nor gather the scattered grapes of your vineyard; leave them for the poor and the sojourner—I am Yahweh your God.
11. Do not steal, do not deceive, and do not lie to one another.
12. You shall not swear by my name to a falsehood, nor profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.
13. You shall not defraud your neighbor or rob him; the wages of your hired servant shall not remain with you until morning.
14. Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block before the blind, but fear your God. I am Yahweh.
15. Do not act unjustly in judgment; do not favor the poor nor honor the great, but judge your neighbor righteously.
16. You shall not go about as a slanderer among your people, nor stand against your neighbor's blood. I am Yahweh.
17. Do not hate your brother in your heart. You must rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.
18. Do not avenge or bear a grudge against the sons of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself: I am Yahweh.
19. You shall keep my statutes. Do not let your livestock breed with a different kind. Do not sow your field with mixed seed; nor shall a garment of mixed linen and wool come upon you.
20. If a man lies with a woman in copulation of seed, and she a bondwoman pledged to another man, and not redeemed at all, nor freedom given to her, she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not freed.
21. He shall bring his guilt offering to Yahweh, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, a ram for a guilt offering.
22. The priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering before Yahweh for his sin that he committed, and that sin he committed shall be forgiven him.
23. When you come into the land and plant any tree for food, you shall treat its fruit as uncircumcised; three years shall it be uncircumcised to you—it shall not be eaten.
24. But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be consecrated for praises to Yahweh.
25. In the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, to increase its produce for you. I am Yahweh your God.
26. You shall not eat with the blood, nor practice divination, nor practice soothsaying.
27. Do not round the edges of your heads, nor mar the edges of your beard.
28. Do not gash your flesh for the dead, nor put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am Yahweh.
29. Do not defile your daughter by prostituting her, lest the land prostitute and the land become filled with wickedness.
30. Observe my Sabbaths and fear my sanctuary; I am Yahweh.
31. Do not turn to mediums or wizards. Do not seek them to become defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God.
32. Rise up before the gray-haired, honor the face of the elder, and fear your God. I am Yahweh.
33. If a sojourner sojourns with you in your land, you shall not oppress him.
34. The sojourner who stays with you shall be to you like a native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.
35. Do not commit injustice in judgment, in measures, in weights, or in quantities.
36. Honest balances, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin shall be yours; I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt.
37. Keep all my statutes and all my judgments, and do them. I am Yahweh.
