34. Any food that is eaten becomes unclean if water comes on it, and any drink that is drunk in any vessel becomes unclean.
35. Everything on which any part of their carcass falls shall be unclean; oven or ranges for pots shall be broken down—they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.
36. Nevertheless, a spring or cistern of gathered water will be clean, but whatever touches their carcass will be unclean.
37. And if any of their carcass falls on any seed for sowing, it is clean.
38. But if water is put on seed and part of their carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you.
39. And if any beast you may eat dies, whoever touches its carcass will be unclean until evening.
40. Whoever eats any of its carcass must wash his garments and be unclean until evening; whoever carries its carcass must wash his garments and be unclean until evening.
41. Every swarming thing that swarms on the earth is detestable. It shall not be eaten.
42. Whatever moves upon its belly, whatever moves on all fours, or whatever has many feet among all the swarming things that swarm on the earth—you shall not eat them, for they are detestable.
