23. One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was reclining on Jesus' bosom.
24. Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him to ask who it might be about whom he speaks.

30. So he took the sop and went out at once. And it was night.
31. So when he went out, Jesus said, "Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him."
32. If God has been glorified in him, God will glorify him in himself, and will glorify him immediately.
33. Little children, I am with you a little longer. You will seek me, and just as I said to the Jews, "Where I am going, you cannot come," so now I tell you.
34. I give you a new commandment, that you love one another as I loved you, so that you also love one another.
35. All will know by this that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
36. Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, where are you going?" Jesus answered, "Where I go, you cannot follow me now, but you will follow afterward."
37. Peter said to him, "Lord, why can't I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you."
38. Jesus answered, "Will you lay down your soul for me? Amen, amen, I tell you, the rooster will not crow until you deny me three times."
