26. Whoever serves me must follow me; and wherever I am, my servant will be there too. Whoever serves me, the Father will honor him.
27. My soul is now troubled, and what am I to say? Father, rescue me from this hour, but for this I came to this hour.
28. Father, glorify your name. Then a voice came from heaven: I have glorified it and will glorify it again.
29. Therefore the crowd standing nearby and hearing it said that thunder had sounded; others said, "An angel has spoken to him."
30. Jesus answered, "This voice has not come for my sake, but for yours."
31. Now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast out.
32. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all to myself.
33. But he said this, signifying by what kind of death he was about to die.
34. So the crowd answered him, “We heard from the law that the Messiah remains forever. How do you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”
35. Jesus therefore said to them, "The light is still with you a little longer. Walk while you have the light, so darkness does not overtake you; and whoever walks in the darkness does not know where he is going."
36. While you have light, believe in the light, so you may become sons of light. Jesus said these things, departed, and hid himself from them.
37. He had done so many signs before them, but they did not believe in him.
38. so that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: "Lord, who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"
39. Because of this they could not believe, because Isaiah said again.

44. Jesus cried out and said, "Whoever believes in me does not believe in me, but in the one who sent me."
45. And whoever beholds me beholds the one who sent me.
46. I have come into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me may not remain in the darkness.
47. And if anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him, for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
48. The one who rejects me and does not accept my sayings has one judging him: the word that I spoke—that one will judge him on the last day.
49. Because I did not speak from myself, but the Father who sent me has given me a commandment—what I should say and what I should speak.
50. And I know that his commandment is eternal life. Therefore whatever I speak, as the Father has said to me, so I speak.
