5. God thunders wondrously with his voice, doing great things we do not know.
6. For he says to the snow, "Cover the earth," to the shower of rain, and to the shower of his mighty rains.
7. He seals the hand of every man so that all men may know his work.
8. Wild beasts enter their lairs and dwell in their dens.
9. The storm comes from the chamber, and cold from the north.
10. God's breath gives frost, and the expanse of the waters is constricted.
11. Yes, with rain he burdens the thick cloud; he scatters the cloud of his lightning.
12. And it circles about, turning by his counsels to do all that he commands them upon the face of the habitable earth.
13. Whether for correction, whether for his land, whether for mercy, he causes it to befall him.
14. Listen to this, Job: stand and consider God's marvelous deeds.
15. Do you know how God sets them in place and makes the light of his cloud shine?
16. Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of the one perfect in knowledge?
17. How warm your clothes are when the earth lies quiet from the south wind?
18. Can you, with him, spread out the skies, strong as a cast mirror?
19. Reveal to us what we shall say to him, for we cannot arrange our words on account of darkness.
20. Will it be told to him that I speak? If a man speaks, surely he will be swallowed up.
21. Now they do not see the bright light in the clouds, but the wind passes and clears them.
22. Gold comes from the north; God has awesome majesty.
