Translated from Hebrew and Greek with AI, then checked for clarity and fidelity.

1. He called out in my ears with a loud voice, saying, “Draw near, you appointed over the city, each man with his destroying weapon in his hand.”
2. Behold, six men came from the direction of the upper gate facing north, each with a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them clothed in linen, with a scribe's inkhorn at his waist. They entered and stood beside the bronze altar.
3. The glory of the God of Israel rose from above the cherub on which it had rested, to the threshold of the house, and he called to the man clothed in linen who carried the scribe's inkhorn at his side.
4. Yahweh said to him, “Pass through the middle of the city, through the middle of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations done in its middle.”
5. To the others he said in my hearing, "Pass through the city after him and strike; let not your eyes spare, nor show compassion."
6. Kill the aged, the young, the virgins, the little children, and the women utterly, but do not approach any man on whom is the mark; begin at my sanctuary. Then they began among the men, the elders before the house.
7. He said to them, "Defile the house and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!" They went out and struck in the city.
8. While they struck them and I alone remained, I fell on my face, cried out, and said, "Ah, Lord Yahweh! Will you destroy all the remnant of Israel as you pour out your wrath on Jerusalem?"
9. He said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is so very great, the land is filled with bloodshed, and the city with perversity, for they say, 'Yahweh has forsaken the land, and Yahweh does not see.'"
10. Even I will not pity with my eye or show compassion, but I will put their way upon their head.
11. Look, the man wearing linen who had the inkhorn at his waist brought back word, saying, "I have done according to all that you commanded me."
