Translated from Hebrew and Greek with AI, then checked for clarity and fidelity.

1. The word of Yahweh came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, saying,
2. Son of man, record the name of this very day: the king of Babylon has laid siege to Jerusalem this very day.
3. Speak a parable to the house of rebels and say to them, Thus says Lord Yahweh: Set the pot on, set it on, and also pour water into it.
4. Gather its pieces into it, every good piece—the thigh and the shoulder—and fill it with choice bones.
5. Take the best of the flock and heap the bones beneath it too; boil it vigorously, yes, and boil its bones in its midst.
6. Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum remains in it, whose scum has not come out from it! Bring out its pieces, piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.
7. For her blood was in her midst; she set it on a bare rock's top, not pouring it on the ground to cover it with dust.
8. To cause wrath to arise to avenge vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare top of a rock, lest it be covered.
9. Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city! I too will make the pile great.
10. Load plenty of wood, blaze up the fire, cook the flesh completely, season the broth richly, and burn the bones.
11. Set it empty on its coals so it heats up and its bronze glows, its filthiness melting within it, its scum consumed.
12. She wearied herself with lies, yet her great scum did not come out of her; her scum is in the fire.
13. There is lewdness in your filthiness, because I cleansed you but you were not cleansed from your filthiness—you will not be cleansed from your filthiness anymore until I rest my wrath on you.
14. I, Yahweh, have spoken; it will come, and I will do it; I will not spare, nor pity, nor relent; according to your ways and your doings they will judge you, declares the Lord Yahweh.
15. The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
16. Son of man, look, I am taking from you the delight of your eyes by a blow, but you shall not mourn or weep, nor shall your tears come.
17. Groan silently for the dead, but perform no mourning. Bind your headdress upon yourself, put your shoes on your feet, do not cover your mustache, and do not eat the bread of men.
18. I spoke to the people in the morning, and my wife died in the evening; then in the morning I acted as I had been commanded.
19. The people said to me, "Won't you explain to us what these things mean for us, since you are doing this?"
20. I said to them, "Yahweh's word came to me, saying,"
21. Say to the house of Israel: Lord Yahweh declares, See, I will defile my sanctuary, the majesty of your strength, the delight of your eyes, and what your soul pities; your sons and daughters whom you forsook will fall by the sword.
22. You will do as I have done concerning your lips: you will not cover them, nor eat the bread of men.
23. Your headdresses on your heads and your shoes on your feet: you will not mourn or weep, but languish in your iniquities and groan, each to his brother.
24. Ezekiel will be a sign to you; you will do everything just as he has done. When it comes, you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
25. You, son of man, will it not be on the day when I take from them their stronghold, the joy of their splendor, the delight of their eyes, and the hope of their soul—their sons and daughters.
26. On that day the escapee will come to you to cause it to be heard in your ears?
27. In that day your mouth will open to the survivor, and you will speak and no longer stay silent; you will be to them a sign, and they will know that I am Yahweh.
