35. Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled over it and Yahweh's glory had filled the tabernacle.
36. When the cloud lifted from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel set out on all their journeys.
37. But if the cloud did not rise, they did not set out until the day of its rising.
38. For the cloud of Yahweh was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.
