23. He said to them, "This is what Yahweh has spoken: tomorrow is a sabbath rest, a holy sabbath to Yahweh. Bake what you bake and boil what you boil, and set aside all that remains over for yourselves to keep until morning."
24. They set it aside until morning, as Moses commanded, and it did not stink, nor was there any worm in it.
25. Moses said, "Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to Yahweh; today you will not find it in the field."
26. Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there shall be none in it.
27. On the seventh day some of the people went out to gather, but they found none.
28. Yahweh said to Moses, "How long will you refuse to keep my commandments and my instructions?"
29. See, because Yahweh has given you the Sabbath, therefore he gives you on the sixth day bread for two days; stay, each man in his place—no man go out from his place on the seventh day.
30. The people rested on the seventh day.
31. The house of Israel called its name manna, and it was like white coriander seed, and its taste was like a wafer with honey.
32. Moses said, "This is what Yahweh commanded: Keep a full omer of it for your generations, so they may see the bread I fed you in the wilderness when I brought you out from the land of Egypt."
33. Moses said to Aaron, "Take one pot, put an omer full of manna in it, and set it before Yahweh for keeping through your generations."

35. The sons of Israel ate manna forty years until they reached inhabited land; they ate manna until they reached the edge of Canaan's land.
