8. I was left alone and saw this great vision, and no strength remained in me, for my splendor turned upon me to destruction, and I retained no strength.

16. Behold, one in human likeness touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke; I said to the one standing before me, "My lord, by the vision pangs have come upon me, and I retain no strength."
17. How can this servant of my lord speak with this my lord? Now no strength remains in me, nor any breath.
18. Again one like the appearance of a man touched me and strengthened me.
19. He said, "Do not fear, greatly beloved man; peace to you. Be strong, be strong." When he spoke with me, I was strengthened and said, "Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me."
20. He said, "Do you know why I came to you? Now I will return to fight with Persia's prince, and as I go forth, behold, Greece's prince comes."
21. But I will declare to you what is noted in the writing of truth, and no one stands firm with me against these except Michael, your prince.
