41. Look, you scoffers, marvel and vanish; for I am doing a deed in your days, a deed you will by no means believe if anyone declares it to you.
42. As they were leaving, they begged that these words might be spoken to them the next Sabbath.
43. When the synagogue dismissed, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who spoke to them and urged them to remain in God's grace.
44. On the coming Sabbath, almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.

50. But the Jews incited the devout and respectable women along with the leading men of the city, roused persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their borders.
51. But they shook the dust from their feet against them and came to Iconium.
52. And the disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.
