10. I will appoint a place for my people Israel and plant them, and they will dwell there undisturbed any longer; nor will the sons of wickedness continue afflicting them as formerly.
11. And from the day that I commanded judges over my people Israel, I have granted you rest from all your enemies; Yahweh declares to you that Yahweh will make a house for you.
12. When your days are complete and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you who comes from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.
13. He himself will build a house for my name, and I will confirm the throne of his kingdom for all time.
14. I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to me. If he does wrong, I will discipline him with the rod of men and with the stripes of the sons of man.

23. Who is like your people Israel, a unique nation on earth whom God went to redeem for himself as a people, to make a name for himself and to do great and awesome things for you and your land before your people, whom you redeemed for yourself from Egypt, from nations and their gods?
24. You confirmed your people Israel for yourself to be your people forever, and you, Yahweh, became their God.
25. Now, Yahweh God, establish forever the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and his house, and do as you have spoken.
26. May your name be exalted forever, saying, “Yahweh of hosts is God over Israel, and the house of your servant David will stand firm before you.”
27. For you, Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed to the ear of your servant, saying, "I will build you a house"; therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.
28. Now, Lord Yahweh, you yourself are God, and your words are truth, and you have spoken this good to your servant.
29. Now therefore, be pleased to bless your servant's house so that it endures forever before you; for you, Lord Yahweh, have spoken, and with your blessing let your servant's house be blessed forever.
