Translated from Hebrew and Greek with AI, then checked for clarity and fidelity.

1. One of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, "Your servant, my husband, has died, and you know that your servant feared Yahweh; now the creditor has come to take my two children as his slaves."
2. Elisha said to her, "What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?" She said, "Your maidservant has nothing whatever in the house, except a pot of oil."
3. He said, "Go, borrow vessels from all your neighbors outside, even empty vessels; do not borrow a few."
4. Enter and shut the door behind you and your sons, pour into all these vessels, and set the full ones aside.
5. She went away from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who were bringing them to her as she poured.
6. When the jars were full, she said to her son, "Bring another jar to me." He said to her, "There is no other jar." The oil stopped.
7. She came and told the man of God. He said, "Go, sell the oil, repay your debt, and you and your sons live on what remains."
8. One day Elisha passed to Shunem, where a prominent woman urged him to eat bread, and whenever he passed by after that, he would turn aside there to eat bread.
9. She said to her husband, "Look now, I know this is a holy man of God who passes by us continually."
10. Please let us make a small upper chamber on the wall, and let us place there for him a bed, a table, a stool, and a lampstand; when he comes to us, he will turn aside there.
11. One day he came there, turned into the upper chamber, and lay there.
12. He told his servant Gehazi to call this Shunammite. He called her, and she stood before him.
13. He said to him, "Please say to her, 'See, you have been concerned for us with all this concern. What can be done for you? Shall we speak on your behalf to the king, or to the army captain?'" She said, "I dwell among my people."
14. He said, "What is to be done for her?" Gehazi answered, "Indeed, she has no son, and her husband is old."
15. He said, "Call her." He called her, and she stood in the doorway.
16. He said, "At this appointed season, at the time of life, you yourself will embrace a son." She said, "No, my lord, man of God, do not lie to your maidservant."
17. The woman conceived and bore a son at that appointed season, the time of life, as Elisha had said to her.
18. The child grew up, and one day he went out to his father to the reapers.
19. He said to his father, "My head! My head!" He said to the boy, "Carry him to his mother."
20. He picked him up and carried him to his mother, sat on her knees until midday, and died.
21. She went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, shut the door behind him, and went out.
22. She called to her husband and said, "Please send me one of the lads and one of the donkeys, so I can run to the man of God and return."
23. He said, "Why are you going to him today? It is neither new moon nor Sabbath." She said, "All is well."
24. She saddled the donkey and said to her servant, "Drive and go forward; do not slow your riding for me unless I tell you."
25. She went and came to the man of God at Mount Carmel. It happened when the man of God saw her from afar that he said to Gehazi his servant, "See, yonder is the Shunammite."
26. Now, please run to meet her and say to her, “Are you well? Is your husband well? Is the child well?” She said, “Well.”
27. She came to the man of God at the mountain and seized his feet, but Gehazi drew near to drive her away, and the man of God said, "Let her be, for her soul is grieved, and Yahweh has hidden it from me and not told me."
28. She said, "Did I ask my lord for a son? Did I not say, 'Do not deceive me'?"
29. He said to Gehazi, "Gird your loins, take my staff in your hand, and go. If you meet any man, do not greet him; and if a man greets you, do not answer him; then place my staff on the boy's face."
30. The boy's mother said, "As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not abandon you." He stood up and went after her.
31. Gehazi went ahead of them and placed the staff on the boy's face, but there was no voice and no hearing, so he returned to meet him and reported, saying, "The boy has not awakened."
32. Elisha entered the house, and there was the child dead, lying on his bed.
33. He entered and shut the door behind both of them, and prayed to Yahweh.
34. He went up and lay on the child, placed his mouth over his mouth, his eyes over his eyes, and his hands over his hands; he stretched himself over him, and the child's flesh grew warm.
35. He returned and walked back and forth in the house, went up, and stretched himself on him; then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.
36. He called to Gehazi and said, "Call this Shunammite." He called her, and she came to him. He said, "Pick up your son."
37. She entered, fell at his feet, and bowed to the ground; then she lifted her son and went out.
38. Elisha returned to Gilgal, and famine struck the land; the sons of the prophets were sitting before him, and he said to his servant, "Put the large pot on the fire and boil stew for the sons of the prophets."
39. One went out to the field to gather herbs, found a wild vine, gathered from it a garment-full of wild gourds, came and sliced them into the stew pot, for they did not recognize them.
40. They poured it for the men to eat. As they ate the stew, they cried out and said, "Man of God, death is in the pot!" They were unable to eat it.
41. He said, "Take flour," cast it into the pot, and said, "Pour for the people, that they may eat"; there was no evil thing in the pot.
42. A man from Baal-shalisha came and brought the man of God firstfruits bread—twenty barley loaves and fresh ears in his sack. He said, "Give to the people, that they may eat."
43. His servant said, "How? Am I to place this before a hundred men?" He said, "Give to the people, and let them eat, for thus has Yahweh declared: They will eat and some will remain."
44. He placed it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of Yahweh.
