10. But as for us, Yahweh is our God, and we have not deserted him; we have priests serving Yahweh, sons of Aaron, and Levites for their duties.
11. They offer burnt offerings and fragrant incense to Yahweh every morning and evening, arrange the bread of the Presence on the pure table, and light the lamps of the golden lampstand every evening, for we uphold the service of Yahweh our God, but you have abandoned him.
12. See, God is with us as leader, his priests with signal trumpets ready to sound the blast against you. Israelites, do not fight Yahweh, the God of your fathers—you will not succeed.
13. But Jeroboam stationed an ambush behind them, so they were in front of Judah, and the ambush was behind them.
14. When Judah turned around, they saw the battle facing them from front and rear, so they cried out to Yahweh, and the priests blew the trumpets.
15. Then the men of Judah shouted, and as they shouted, God defeated Jeroboam and all Israel in the presence of Abijah and Judah.
