Translated from Hebrew and Greek with AI, then checked for clarity and fidelity.

1. Then David said, “This is the house of Yahweh God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”
2. David commanded the gathering of the foreigners who were in the land of Israel, and he appointed stonecutters to cut hewn stones to build God's house.
3. David prepared abundant iron for the nails, for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings, and abundant bronze without weight.
4. Cedar trees without number, for the Sidonians and Tyrians brought cedar trees in abundance to David.
5. David said, "Solomon my son is but a youth and tender, and the house to be built for Yahweh must be made exceedingly great, for renown and splendor throughout all lands. I will now prepare for it." So David prepared abundantly before his death.
6. He called Solomon his son and charged him to build a house for Yahweh, the God of Israel.
7. David said to Solomon his son, "My son, I had it in my heart to build a house for the name of Yahweh my God."
8. But Yahweh's word came to me, saying, "You have poured out blood abundantly and fought great wars; you shall not build a house to my name, because you have spilled much blood on the earth before me."
9. See, a son will be born to you; he will be a man of rest, and I will grant him rest from all his enemies around, for his name will be Solomon, and I will bring peace and quietness to Israel in his days.
10. He will build a house for my name, and he will be a son to me, and I a father to him; I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.
11. Now, my son, may Yahweh be with you and may you prosper and build the house of Yahweh your God, as he has spoken concerning you.
12. Only may Yahweh give you discretion and understanding, and charge you over Israel to keep the law of Yahweh your God.
13. Then you will prosper if you take care to keep the statutes and the judgments that Yahweh commanded Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed.
14. See, in my trouble I have prepared for Yahweh's house a hundred thousand talents of gold, a million talents of silver, and bronze and iron beyond weighing—for there is abundance. I have also prepared timber and stones, and you may add to them.
15. With you there are workers in abundance, cutters and craftsmen of stone and wood, and every kind of skilled person for every kind of work.
16. Gold, silver, bronze, and iron are without number. Arise and do, and may Yahweh be with you.
17. David commanded all Israel's princes to help his son Solomon.
18. Isn't Yahweh your God with you, and hasn't he granted you rest all around? For he has given the land's inhabitants into my hand, and the land stands subdued before Yahweh and before his people.
19. Now devote your hearts and souls to seeking Yahweh your God, and rise to build Yahweh God's sanctuary in order to bring the ark of Yahweh's covenant and the holy vessels of God into the house being built to Yahweh's name.
