Scripture does say the things that are seen are temporary (2 Corinthians 4:18) and that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5), but this line is not in it.

Not in the Bible. Origin: Persian and Jewish folklore, often told about a king’s ring and sometimes attached to Solomon.

## What the Bible says instead

> For this light, momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, because we do not look at the things that are seen but at the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
