# Does Lumin speak as Jesus? > No. Lumin does not speak as Jesus, as God, as the Holy Spirit, as a prophet, or as a pastor. It is a Bible AI companion that cites Scripture you can open. Character-chat products that impersonate Christ occupy a different category, even when a FAQ later says the character is not real. The Incarnation is particular: the Word became flesh, dwelt among us, died, and rose. A language model can imitate the cadence of the Gospels. It cannot be the Son. Putting “Jesus” on the from-line asks the user to practice a relationship with a statistical echo. Text With Jesus is one product in that category. This page is the Lumin-side refusal, not a ranking of apps. ## Scripture already tells us whose voice this is not. These passages are not a software manual. They are why Lumin will not put holy speech in a chatbot’s mouth. ### The Word became flesh. **John 1:14** — Christ is a person, not a persona. Software that speaks as Jesus collapses that claim into a user-interface choice. ### God has spoken by his Son. **Hebrews 1:1–2** — The church already has a final Word in Christ as recorded in Scripture. It does not need a generated sequel in the first person. ### Do not presume to speak in the Lord’s name. **Deuteronomy 18:20** — Claiming “a word from the Lord” that the Lord has not commanded is an old sin with a new interface. Lumin refuses that line. ### The Spirit guides into truth. **John 16:13** — The Holy Spirit is not a feature flag. A model that claims inner guidance is occupying the wrong office. ### Even darkness can look bright. **2 Corinthians 11:14** — A warm, biblical tone is not proof of source.
