## A companion for the week after Sunday

Lumin Faith and Lumin refer to the same Christian Bible AI companion for iPhone and iPad. Some policy pages use the longer name “Lumin Faith: Bible AI”; Lumin is the name used across this site.

The official site is lumin.faith. On the App Store the listing is Lumin: Bible AI Companion. Other similarly named faith or AI products — including searches for “Faith Lumen” — are separate. We only speak for Lumin. Lumin addresses a common gap: a sermon can matter deeply on Sunday and become difficult to carry by Tuesday. The app turns it into a digest, an anchor verse, and one practice to revisit during the week. AI helps organize that material; Scripture, prayer, pastoral care, and church community remain central.

## Who builds Lumin

## Editorial principles

1. **Write for the person asking.** Pages are written to answer a real question, not to repeat keywords.
2. **Product claims we can support.** Features described here must exist in Lumin or its published materials.
3. **No spiritual authority for AI.** Sources and limits stay visible; human judgment and community stay active.
4. **Corrections stay open.** If something is unclear or inaccurate, we want to know and correct it.

## How we cite Scripture

Verses are chosen for the question being asked. Topic pages quote the King James Version (public domain). The public reader and iPhone Bible tab use the Lumin Translation, rendered from Hebrew and Greek with AI and then checked for clarity and fidelity. Glosses in answers are original summaries, not a second Bible. Open the named passage; AI is not the interpreter.

Topic pages answer one question with a few named passages, one King James highlight you can check, and one next step. They are study aids, not a substitute for reading the chapter, a pastor, or the church.

The public reader at [Read Scripture](https://www.lumin.faith/read.md) uses the Lumin Translation, the same Faithful corpus as the iPhone Bible tab: translated from Hebrew and Greek with AI, then checked for clarity and fidelity. That is a chapter you can open. It is not a claim that AI is the interpreter.
